Do you have golf carts for hire to get around the island? My parents want to visit but my father has knee problems and wont be able to walk around. If you do have could you please tell me the cost and where we could pick them up. Also, are they 2 or 4 seaters. [...]

I'm sailing master at Tingira Boat Club, Macleay Island.  We're keen to bring our fleet of 6 vagabond dinghys over for Flinders Day (tide permitting).  I'll need to know what day you intend to hold it.

Children fun for Flinders Day?

We participated in the Easter Carnival on Stradbroke Island with our laughing clowns, lucky ducks, lucky dips and streamers, and the children had such fun.  A lady from Coochie suggested I contact the organisers for events on your island.  We would love to hear from you.  Please phone 34088787.

Camera Lost

awesome outriggers

Friday December 11th. Awesome paddle today in the outrigger. Differing sea states, waves higher than the boat, hard paddle round the red to the yellow. Almost surfing to the golf course and a pleasant paddle under the jetty. )

Catamaran Outrigger

There is a white Sailing Catamaran about 40 ft long moored off the beach near the barge ramp. It is relatively new to the area.
It is quite different to the normal design as it uses an outrigger for one hull.
